Annie frank, before she paid it with her life for being a jew, wrote to her diary, 'its not Hitler, no its not his government. its the common man. its de common man who loves de war so much. for if he doesn't and if he, along all his fellow men had stood against it, there were never a war'. she died, 13 and alone, in some concentration camp.
like some other good billion who weren't there to witness or be victimized, i too somehow, felt de clog on air, on our civil liberty, over our abris, under our floor, and on human relations as we find it hard to believe 'the man' that happens to walk beside us.
my take on that is through ma song, a so called rebel, de quipping innocent people, de non terminally sick political frame, a commotion...bleak n just to fade, n de papers, de stories, de reports, de coverages, de casts, de blames n one pose... is all dis with any end?
I am a rebel, a more like saint
i wear long hair n some pretensions out here
I am innocent, so I don’t love de war
But if that be true, dere were no wars to argue.
If 62 hrs, when you were awake ‘til late
N your love for mascot of death n hate
Wouldn’t seize de fire from guns n grenade
I ‘ld rather suggest lets just all call it a date.
We ‘re not like dem, you got ny doubt?
Lets just say if dere league is to explode
I wouldn’t, for years, hear any sound.
It was on air for hrs, with no blink or vert
De cover was high. N so was de dirt
Yes I’ve smeared my eyes, bearing a lil hurt
I am a rebel, like another good million Kurt
I hate wars, didn’t I make myself clear?
Or just a sec, is it that I just think so?
czz if i had really stood against it all
and you sir, before I was born
n all de other ‘innocent’ for law n don
I humbly ask, if there had ever been a war?
Its just that we all love it
Much Like all de others who actually kill
Aint it a cheap fun to watch
Tears n heads all around with out much frill
But I refrain my lines and I m happy with it
I am a rebel, I am a rebel, I am a rebel
without a cause...
